Bronx native, Geri Nasser has been painting off and on for almost 50 years, yet has never had an exhibition of her own till now. This inaugural solo exhibition includes recent oil paintings depicting scenes taken from family photos and research of both her parent's homeland of Ireland, and her late husband's birthplace of Lebanon. Most of the images are of people, places and even animals from another lifetime, many from over a century ago. Through the process of painting these characters from the past, Nasser revisits the stories told to her throughout her life, celebrating, honoring and cherishing the past and people she loves.
